Russian ministry sees annual inflation slowing to 12–13% by Sep
MOSCOW, Apr 24 (PRIME) -- Russian annual inflation is to slow to 12–13% by September, Deputy Economic Development Minister Alexei Vedev told reporters Friday.
“Since our basic forecast is 11.9% for December against December, if we speak about year-on-year figures, this is quite a smooth reduction to around 12–13% by the end of the summer,” he said.
Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said Thursday that Russia’s annual inflation could return to a single-digit figure in the first quarter of 2016.
